A straight cut through the calf gives these cropped pants breathing room. We built them with a 21 inch inseam that hits mid-shin on most frames, finished in a solid black that resists dust. The four-way stretch fabric is fully opaque, so you can bend without worrying about sheerness.
Two drop-in hand pockets hold large smartphones upright against your hip. Below those, two cargo pockets on the mid-thigh give you a secure spot for keys and trail passes without adding bulk.
The high waistband sits at the natural waistline with an elastic interior build that stays flat. A subtle V-shaped seam at the back yoke keeps the fabric contoured to your lower back while you sit or walk.
The fabric is a matte knit with a soft brushed surface. It recovers its shape after hours of wear, resists wrinkles out of a packed bag, and remains squat-proof under direct gym lighting.
The deep black dye stays true through machine wash cycles in cold water. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to keep the straight leg hems crisp and pill-free.
